Hospital - Corona

 Day 2 - Hospital Diary.

Outside ppl are celebrating return of IPL, but then this world, where i am, ppl are fighting there own battles. Battle which has no rule, no rights or wrong, battle to just survive. So this was the day to get adjusted to Hospital life, life were you and only you can take care of your mental self. Medicine can work but that too if your body says yes you are my friend.

Had to go for customary X Ray, same old thing of poor mis managment.  You go and you wait for 2 H and in the end you don't even get X ray done. Luckily one helpful soul  MNS officer, who herself was admitted for Covid pushed her way being in staff, having spoken to her during waiting, she ensured mine X ray is also done. Not only X ray but even she read out the report too, the report was normal. Sometimes you feel MNS guys are overpaid but sometimes you feel that actually they too  have to balance a lot. Anyways, bottomline is X ray is done and dusted.

Food continues to be same, same means literally same Menu, but then having undergone so many trainings, i realise all food is good food, our country, countless slp with no food. At times i feel like other officers to crib about food, but i understand, the hard fact is, it is being made in masses, so let us not get into details.  Food on time is enough, that is all.

Tdy three officers got discharge and 6 got admitted. The way things are, the ward seems to be running at full capacity. In fact shortly, if load increase, they will shift ppl to make shift complex made behind defence estate office. I can see load increasing for almost nxt 4 weeks, it may come down after that.

I also came to know that DGMS, DDGMS have also got admitted in the same complex. If it can touch the untouchable, i think this disease can touch anyone.  Had interaction with one officer who had sudden increase in severity of disease, what i can make out is, when this hits, it hits really bad. So maybe we can only pray it doesn't hit at all to anyone. I have some good books for company, hope to finish it in time. Eventhough you want to read but you feel slpy, 'itna accha AC jo hai'. The irony is i don't use in my home at all, maximum in summer under pressure from daughter we used to run during night time. If i calculate total AC usage must  be not more than 20 plus does this whole year.

My health remians the same ie no grt fever (last measured was 98.3) , no grt drop in SPO2 (98), partial smell regained, i could smell shaving cream. I love my walk but am avoiding it now, maybe i will have to avoid any kind of exercise till end Oct. 'Tab tak Yoga se He Hoga'

Pray all stay safe, stay healthy. Will seee if any good story comes out on Day 3. Ab thoda aaram and just bit of social media action, till slp comes on own. Kal Sunday, i will miss my Sunday for sure, but when things are not in your control, you njoi everyday.
